Dove's Plant Milk Cleansing Bar: A Soothing Oasis for Sensitive Skin of the Summer

I'll admit, I was quite hesistant to try Dove's new Plant Milk Cleansing Bars. As someone who suffers from eczema, I was taken aback by the fragences and pigmentation of the product although the smell was deliciously radiant and the color gives a feel of instant relaxation. But on second thought, it's hot, it's summer, I'm sweaty and I want to feel fresh, clean, and smell good. Plus Dove's new line consists of soaps made with Oat Milk & Berry Brulee, Coconut Milk & Sugar Lychee, Macademia Milk & Willow Lavender, and Tumeric Milk & Lemon Drop which are key natural ingredients to both soothe, calm, and cleanse the skin.

For the past two weeks I've had the privilege of trying Dove's Oat Milk & Berry Brulee Cleansing Bar. As the package indicates, the cleansing bar is a beautiful vibrant redish-pink color. The bar's scent permeates through the package which I personally appreciated as a consumer. It's nice to know I'm getting the bang for my buck and Dove's promise of a stand-in perfume for a scent that's long lasting was clearly fulfilled. For the time I've been using the product, I felt at ease knowing and feeling that I really could go without adding perfume to my after shower care routine especially since strong perfumes gives me sneezing fits and irriates my skin.

Dove's Oat Milk & Berry Brulee Cleansing Bar lathered eloquantly, filling my African Net Sponge with ease. I didn't feel the need to keep going for the soap bar for more of the product as much as I usually do with other brands. After showering, my dry and itchy prone skin felt not only clean but also suttly moisturized and smelled delicatable. I was truly amazed!

Usually within minutes of getting out of the shower, my skin becomes ashy from the mositure that has been stripped from my skin and because of that my fingers goes in for the kill to quell the itch. With Dove new Cleansing Bars, that tables have truly turned. This is due to the fact that the cleansing bar is infused with ultra-nourishing plant-based milks and PH-balancing cleansers. More specifically, plant-based squalene and aloe extract which gives it that lather I crave. And with its 98% biodegradable formulas what's now to love?
